Aaron Longchamps<p>Vuetify is now my component framework of choice for this project. It's been nice to work with, there are tons of examples to demo features, and I can find sample code easily enough that I can incorporate in to my project.</p><p>I still have a LOT of concepts to learn around Vue/Vuetify, but now I have a foundation to build on.</p><p>My next step will be designing all the pages I want to write and working that into Vue's routing structure. This also would be the time to figure out a color scheme/theme that works for me as I map out my demo app.</p><p>Thanks to Vue's import functionality, I'm able to include a single &lt;navigation /&gt; tag in to the app and that will bring in my header/navigation bar for any page that needs it.</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/webdev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>webdev</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/vuetify" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vuetify</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/vue" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vue</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/javascript" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>javascript</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/programming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>programming</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/fullstackdevelopment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fullstackdevelopment</span></a></p>
Aaron Longchamps<p>One more night of working on this and I got the barebones CRUD operations going with Vuetify. The code all works and I can touch up the appearance the next time I look at this.</p><p>Here's all the functionality I have done. 1 and 2 were done last night:</p><p>1. get all items<br>2. click on the table to get the details of one item<br>3. on that page, click an edit button and send those. changes back to the database. Upon submission, go back to the item detail page<br>4. delete item from the item detail page<br>5. create a new item and redirect to the new item detail page</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/webdev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>webdev</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/vue" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vue</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/vuetify" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>vuetify</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/programming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>programming</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/fullstackdevelopment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fullstackdevelopment</span></a> </p><p>Alt text: screenshots from my demo application showing me editing a name and a description on a record</p>
