How many times something gets posted on their <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/Flarum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Flarum</a>, it gets the appropriate labels within 24 hours usually and they actively keep track of stuff and mark things as done when they're indeed done

danirod 🇪🇸Last week I partially deprecated the Discord server for my YouTube channel and refurbished the old forums.Reception has been shy but positive by some viewers. I still have to replace the descriptions and pinned comments for hundreds of videos to swap the links.We're still powered by <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Flarum" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Flarum</a>. That thing just rocks and it is more lightweight than Discourse while feeling safer than the typical phpBB / SMF forum.

It's installed on really decently performant hardware, and has no excuses to perform this slowly - it's as though Microsoft invented it or something. It takes 10 seconds just to show one's message inbox (for DMs), and the there is tons of RAM, CPU and disk that's just sitting there, twiddling its thumbs, as it were (I've watched htop and iotop). That's madness. I lost 2 weeks with Lemmy, because it really has a lot of huge bugs and I really don't want to be occupied by the software I communicate with, but with the people who are on the platform itself. Flarum or it's extensions might have bugs too, but they are minor and don't break the whole system, because it's just cleaner. The forum is even better than the ex-chat on Habitica, because posts of inspiring people don't get push away by chat messages, but will be saved and are accessible to everyone.
