(And yes, i am aware its on Substack. No need to comment on this.)</p><p><a href="https://open.substack.com/pub/georgetsakraklides/p/the-dream-that-humanity-is-unable" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">open.substack.com/pub/georgets</span><span class="invisible">akraklides/p/the-dream-that-humanity-is-unable</span></a></p>

This is a slow-moving global catastrophe, the worst I’ve ever seen.”</p><p><a href="https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/jul/02/droughts-worldwide-pushing-tens-millions-starvation-report" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">theguardian.com/environment/20</span><span class="invisible">25/jul/02/droughts-worldwide-pushing-tens-millions-starvation-report</span></a></p>

But perhaps we can at least connect to those around us (IRL) in truer ways. IDK. </p><p><a href="https://www.theguardian.com/wellness/ng-interactive/2025/may/22/hypernormalization-dysfunction-status-quo?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">theguardian.com/wellness/ng-in</span><span class="invisible">teractive/2025/may/22/hypernormalization-dysfunction-status-quo?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other</span></a></p>

One particular point I liked: he uses the term <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/Metacrisis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Metacrisis</span></a> instead of <a href="https://mastodon.green/tags/polycrisis" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>polycrisis</span></a>, to capture that it’s all one big crisis. I agree, it’s better. Will use it too from now on </p><p>(And yes, it’s on Substack. I didn’t put it there. I am aware Substack is part of the problem. Feel free to just not open it). </p><p><a href="https://open.substack.com/pub/ernestopvanpeborgh/p/can-we-confirm-we-are-in-collapse?r=4ug8&amp;utm_medium=ios" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">open.substack.com/pub/ernestop</span><span class="invisible">vanpeborgh/p/can-we-confirm-we-are-in-collapse?r=4ug8&amp;utm_medium=ios</span></a></p>
