No, you can't just implement the <a href="https://cyberplace.social/tags/Unicode" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Unicode</a> <a href="https://cyberplace.social/tags/Bidirectional" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Bidirectional</a> Algorithm and call it a day. It turns out the Arabic letters/symbols/? have different forms depending on where they are in the word and probably there are other non-trivial features.
