DesertPaws
There is a disconnect when it comes to the #Trump voters and one of their reasons for voting for #Trumplicans. They voted because the cost of housing is to expensive. The cost of rent and houses have risen far faster, making it cost prohibited. Prices usually rise proportionally when demand outpaces supply. So the answer is to build more housing. But at least in my state, those same voters rally against new construction and vote against changes to increase supply. There is that disconnect. One calls for the solution while at the same time opposing the solution. It doesn't make any logical sense.

Maybe we live in a time when people say and do the opposite and take actions that are against their own best interests. Or are people just reluctant to voice their own truths.
