My first watch of SG-1 continues. A thread....

Whenever I hear "Incoming traveler, Incoming traveler", I think of the TV series M*A*S*H and also the Strange New Worlds episode "Under the Cloak of War" ("Incoming transport, incoming transport").

Daniel is dead? WTFH! Oh yeah, now that he's gone, let's go check out his apartment and go through his personal expedition journals.

Teal'c cleans up nicely in a suit jacket and matching hat at the wake for Daniel. He could be on the cover of Goa'uld Quarterly.

Holy Hannah! Daniel isn't dead! WTFH!

Nem reminds me of a cross between Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and The Creature From the Black Lagoon.

When Sam was going through Daniel's expedition journals in his apartment, I more than chuckled at the line "Colonel O'Neill thinks I'm a geek. I have no idea how to get us back. I'll never get paid".

The Nem/Daniel scenes seemed to really slow down this episode (which may have been the intent). Although, it was interesting that Nem accused Daniel of being Goa'uld, and that both of them lost a mate because of the Goa'uld.

When Daniel asked Nem to search his mind, it instantly reminded me of a Vulcan Mind Meld.

The line of the episode (by Jack, of course) came when Dr. MacKenzie was talking about hypnosis...."Hypnosis. You know, I'm not a big fan of that 'bark like a chicken, or cluck like a....
