Nederlanders staan achter het afbouwen van (of meteen stoppen met) fossiele subsidies.De discussie gaat over de wijze waarop we/jullie dat proberen af te dwingen.Ik sympathiseer enorm met (edit:) het DOEL van jullie acties en heb zelf ook overwogen om op de Utrechtse Baan te gaan zitten (overigens is dat geen snelweg), maar toch ging mij dat net een stap te ver (niet omdat het een verkeersinfarct zou veroorzaken, maar omdat dit zo geframed en dus "ervaren wordt").Hetzelfde zie ik bij pro-Palestina acties. Ik ben niet persé pro-Palestina, ik ben tegen onrecht.Als jullie actie betekent dat er op de A12 gewandeld gaat worden, dan keur ik dat af. Erik van Straten<a href="https://mastodon.nl/@geppiegep" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@geppiegep</a> : dank voor jouw reactie.Terwijl ik dit schrijf raak ik er volledig van overtuigd (en wijzig meermaals deze tekst): het gaat niet om een nog aanwezig, maar om een *nieuw* aangepraat collectief schuldgevoel. Met als gevolg de angst om voor antisemiet of zelfs ondersteuner van terroristen te worden uitgemaakt als je je mond opendoet (en daar wellicht ooit voor te worden vervolgd, en/of met consequenties voor relaties en baan).We worden op TV steeds vaker gehersenspoeld met series, talkshows, journaal, Nieuwsuur etc. over het leed dat uitsluitend Joden vooral tijdens WW2 is, en nu nog steeds zou worden, aangedaan. Waarom? Wie zitten daar achter? (Ik heb sterke vermoedens, en het is wijdvertakt).Het is allemaal tactiek om ook díe Nederlanders, die staan vóór fundamentele mensenrechten (ongeacht hun afkomst en geloof) zó bang te maken dat zij "wijselijk" hun mond houden (ik kan mij niet voorstellen dat we het in NL sprekende landen dan niet over een meerderheid hebben).Het lukt de angstaanjagers (aka terroristen) - en ze komen er nog mee weg ook. Met heel veel medeplichtigen "die gewoon hun werk deden" en een klein uitstapje van hun normen en waarden maakten.Ik pleit er al veel langer voor: we moeten de straat op voor een demonstratie voor mensenrechten - ZONDER Palestijnse/Israëlische vlaggen en kledingstukken.Met alle respect voor strijders voor de rechten van specifiek Palestijnen: hun aanpak heeft -bewezen- gefaald (je krijgt zo veel te weinig mensen op de been).
