In preparation, I cut and filed a small piece of steel and double-side taped it to my (aluminum) aviation knee board. Before anyone thinks I've lost my mind...</p><p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.darc.de/@DA1EE" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>DA1EE</span></a></span> and I decided we'd try a CW sked for real-world practice but of course, we're at the mercy of the propagation gods. We eventually found that 15m worked for us today, but too much QSB to be useful. S50NB<p>Did my first cw contest today ( i was working in the SO LP SSB/CW group). Since it was a local 80m 2hour contest i didnt expect a pile up on cw and I sure did get one.
