I'm a #mindMapping newbie. Currently trying out Nice Mind and Simple Mind. Only testing on Android so far. Anything else out there that's simple and easy for a noob?
I'm seriously considering Nice Mind. It has an option for a one-time Lifetime payment, about $20. I don't like monthly subscriptions for apps.
Speaking of #Obsidian, #mindmapping doesn't work for me. The thing is, it's not too different from how I actually think. My thoughts are a jumble of loose connections bouncing around. When I put that on paper or a graphic, it's basically a visual representation of what's going on in my head so it doesn't really help organise my thoughts or help me think differently because it's how I think already. Maybe I'm missing the point?
I liked because it allows me to display multiple categories of tasks visually, simultaneously but which feels heavy in the #browser, isn't super easy to utilize on #mobile, and when used in this way lacks ease of sorting, etc.
I'm currently experiment with #Airtable which provides some of the sorting, etc. but I'm not a fan of it's closed source, heavy feel.
I'm also experimenting with #Obsidian's #canvas and need to dive into it more deeply, I've used various #MindMapping software but
