Adrian Schönig :kangaroo:<p>Our now 7-year-old is having an absolute blast with the Robot Inventor set this school holidays. So glad I snatched it up back then. I wish at some stage there'll be <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Mindstorms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mindstorms</span></a> content here again: <a href="https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/mindstorms" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">lego.com/en-us/themes/mindstor</span><span class="invisible">ms</span></a></p>
Deborah Pickett<p>Can you help this project to extend the useful life of Lego Mindstorms?</p><p>(Boosted from <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@laurensvalk" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>laurensvalk</span></a></span> but in case the instance is blocked where you’re reading this.)</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@laurensvalk/114743346787502504" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">fosstodon.org/@laurensvalk/114</span><span class="invisible">743346787502504</span></a></p><p><a href="https://old.mermaid.town/tags/Lego" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Lego</span></a> <a href="https://old.mermaid.town/tags/Mindstorms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mindstorms</span></a></p>
PeterB<p>A new step in my LEGO sorting machine: After 4 years, I have finally extended the EV3 code so it can handle errors. And package it as a Debian archive<br>for easy installation. On the other hand, it has become clear that the EV3 has run its <br>course and needs to be replaced. PeterB<p>Welcome to the new year! The Lego sorter is getting a completely overhauled UI. Much more user friendly and easier to install. PeterB<p>I am back with my (almost) monthly update on my Lego Sorting Machine. </p><p>This month, unlike last month, I decided to try to simplify things, even if that means using closed services that demand to use your data in any way they see fit.</p><p><a href="https://ml.streamhead.com/preview/445139/emails/136713786335692500" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">ml.streamhead.com/preview/4451</span><span class="invisible">39/emails/136713786335692500</span></a></p><p>As always, if you want to receive these updates in your mailbox, you can sign up right here:</p><p><a href="https://subscribepage.io/sorting-updates" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">subscribepage.io/sorting-updat</span><span class="invisible">es</span></a></p><p><a href="https://indiehackers.social/tags/lego" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>lego</span></a> <a href="https://indiehackers.social/tags/mindstorms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mindstorms</span></a> <a href="https://indiehackers.social/tags/raspberrypi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>raspberrypi</span></a> <a href="https://indiehackers.social/tags/ai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ai</span></a> <a href="https://indiehackers.social/tags/deeplearning" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>deeplearning</span></a> <a href="https://indiehackers.social/tags/buildinpublic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>buildinpublic</span></a></p>

Adrian Schönig :kangaroo:<p>The <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Lego" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Lego</span></a> Robot Inventor set is marked as “last chance”. Curious what’s coming next for <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Mindstorms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mindstorms</span></a>. I’ve had many, many fun filled afternoons over the years with this set with my kids (now 5 and 8). Not least due to the 5 main and 15+ community builds in the official app, and inspiration for alternative builds online.</p><p><a href="https://www.lego.com/en-au/product/robot-inventor-51515" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">lego.com/en-au/product/robot-i</span><span class="invisible">nventor-51515</span></a></p>
