MPI für Meteorologie⛅ Cloud feedbacks remain the largest contributor of uncertainty to climate sensitivity, &tropical high clouds are most uncertain. Combining cloud-resolving simulations with <a href="https://wisskomm.social/tags/ICON" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#ICON</a> & the radiative transfer model ARTS, our <a href="https://wisskomm.social/tags/IMPRS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#IMPRS</a> candidate Jakob Deutloff developed a conceptual model that links the high-cloud radiative effect to cloud thickness measured by ice water path.
