Software dev, main project is web/database for radio and TV stations (think Nielsen ratings but for ad dollars).</p><p>Long time MUSH player, inherited a large <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/WorldOfDarkness" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WorldOfDarkness</span></a> instance in 2013 which continues to this day. GM <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Paranoia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Paranoia</span></a> at local game conventions. Play in a couple of parlor <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/larp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>larp</span></a> games. Play lots of <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/StardewValley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StardewValley</span></a> (wrote a couple small mods for it, one of which is my icon here).</p><p>Watch mostly <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/StarTrek" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StarTrek</span></a> and <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/DoctorWho" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DoctorWho</span></a> and <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/ProWrestling" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ProWrestling</span></a>. Have long identified with Ford Prefect from <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/HitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HitchhikersGuideToTheGalaxy</span></a>, the frood who knows just a bit more than the noob, and is sorta able to pass on that basis.</p><p>Namesake of a celeb. This didn't exactly help me as a socially awkward kid, but at least it made me less generic, which is something, I guess.</p><p>Ran a minor BBS in the 80s, posted on some others. Have only grown more introverted on social media as it became increasingly mainstream.</p>
