RosyTried watching a few GL dramas today but couldn't get into them at all. I am too autistic to enjoy live action shows. I don't like looking at human faces. RosyI think Liz and the Blue Bird was the first yuri anime I watched. It's very pretty, but I only liked the shy girl, not the one she was yearning for. When it comes to ships/romance I am very sensitive to rejection situations... I don't like how Miorine treated Suletta after "the splat" either. And even though I like to look at Fluttershy yuri fan art, I don't like how she gets mistreated by the Mane Six in the show.I've always loved the shy girl archetype so I feel especially protective towards characters like that. RosyThis is a cute 12 chapter yuri manga between a normal woman and a "witch." She seems more like a fairy in my opinion. Either way, I liked it. RosyI need to make a list of all the yuri manga I have read because there are so many titles where I don't even know if I've read them or not. I mainly read slice of life and it all blurs together... I can't remember which is which.I've tried reading more plot-based yuri but I don't like it. I don't care about world-building or magic systems or other isekai/fantasy stuff, I just want to look at women going on relaxing dates. RosyI learned a Korean term 잔반처리 GL that means "leftover yuri." It's a word for when girl characters get headcanoned as lesbians only so they don't interfere with a BL ship. I have seen this phenomena in certain fandoms but I didn't know how to describe it before. Trying to get girls "out of the way" is sad...This is not the yuri way. I think yuri is best when the creator's heart is in it... RosyOne thing I like about this manga is the way their "selfish" reason for being childfree is presented in a positive light.I understand the appeal of a family with two or more moms, but I don't like the idea that people need to have children.
