Jacob Campbell<p>It has been forever since I made any videos. Super simple, just some music and title screens and a bit of footage of riding. <a href="https://social.vsp.ink/tags/finalcutpro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>finalcutpro</span></a> <a href="https://social.vsp.ink/tags/groovy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>groovy</span></a> <a href="https://social.vsp.ink/tags/cycle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cycle</span></a></p>
Anthony Baker<p>Have had a few chats with some folks about this, but wanted to see if I could get more input:</p><p>I'd like to start doing more beefy video editing and curious which route I should go: Resolve or Final Cut Pro? I'm new to both apps and have background on some of the differences between each, but would love to get thoughts from those with experience. There's pros and cons for both.</p><p>Thanks in advance!</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/DaVinceResolve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DaVinceResolve</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/finalcutpro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>finalcutpro</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/videoediting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>videoediting</span></a></p>

Hollerpixie<p>Putting this out there to my friends on the fediverse- I am at a crossroads for video editing software. I’m past where iMovie does what I need. The question is do I make the huge leap to <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/davinciresolve" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>davinciresolve</span></a> or go with what is probably more similar and easy to use with <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/finalcutpro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>finalcutpro</span></a> for my editing needs? Definitely not a professional so I don’t need professional color grading, literally just a couple of lots and some fiddling around with contrast and highlights works well for me. Any thoughts?</p>

Rich Aesthetic<p>Any thoughts on using <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/FinalCutPro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FinalCutPro</span></a> to splice audio files of a book my coworker is reading. I’m considering using FCP because I’m familiar with the audio editing tools, and they have noise removal and voice isolation features. Could the same be done with dedicated <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/audio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>audio</span></a> apps like <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GarageBand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GarageBand</span></a>?</p>
Kernel Bob<p>Hey, tooters, what are you using to edit video?</p><p>I've always used Final Cut Pro, but I don't use it often and it's daunting. Do you have an app that's a good blend of easy and powerful?</p><p>Thanks.</p><p>I've got a small pile of raw footage that I've been procrastinating editing...</p><p><a href="https://chaos.social/tags/VideoEdit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>VideoEdit</span></a> <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/FinalCutPro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FinalCutPro</span></a></p>

seitz<p>Hi everyone! I’m <a href="https://musician.social/tags/newhere" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>newhere</span></a>, again! I had an account before but the server musician.social was on accidentally got wiped. So here’s a little <a href="https://musician.social/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>introduction</span></a>: I like talking about <a href="https://musician.social/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> and <a href="https://musician.social/tags/culture" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>culture</span></a>, especially that of the <a href="https://musician.social/tags/80s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>80s</span></a> and <a href="https://musician.social/tags/90s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>90s</span></a>. My own music has more of a <a href="https://musician.social/tags/00s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>00s</span></a> feel since that was when I first started writing. <a href="https://musician.social/tags/bj%C3%B6rk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>björk</span></a>, <a href="https://musician.social/tags/toriamos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>toriamos</span></a> and <a href="https://musician.social/tags/radiohead" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>radiohead</span></a> are my greatest influences and I’d say my material falls into the <a href="https://musician.social/tags/artpop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>artpop</span></a> genre. <br>I’m currently recovering from <a href="https://musician.social/tags/longcovid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>longcovid</span></a> and learning <a href="https://musician.social/tags/finalcutpro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>finalcutpro</span></a>.</p>
