StefanMeiner Meinung nach hat die Nutzung von Smartphones bei <a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=kindern" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Kindern</a> mehr Nachteile als Vorteile.<br><br>Ich würde ein <a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=dumbphone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Dumbphone</a> (<a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=featurephone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Featurephone</a>) statt einem <a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=smartphone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Smartphone</a> bevorzugen. Mit einem klassischen <a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=handy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Handy</a> sind die Kinder immer noch erreichbar und sie können in einem Notfall anrufen, dafür braucht es kein Smartphone.<br><br>Das Internet ist ein Ort für 18+ und alles andere als ein sicherere Ort für Kinder (mit oder ohne Kinderschutz). Selbst die Nutzung von Gruppenchats ist wohl bei sehr jungen Nutzern ein großes Problem.<br><br>Wir sollen unsern Kinder helfen mit der Technik umzugehen. Dies ist aber ein Prozess. Die Kinder werden die Technik sehr schnell lernen! Zu lernen welche Konsequenzen bestimmte Entscheidungen haben oder auch das bewerten von Inhalte etc kann jedoch etwas brauchen.<br><br>Viele Dinge kann man auch am Computer lernen. Gemeinsam und zielorientiert. Meine Kinder lernen viele Dinge auf einem <a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Debian</a> <a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=gnu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#GNU</a> <a href="https://devlug.de/social?t=linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Linux</a> System. Die Nutzung von einem Smartphone versuchen wir so lange wie möglich zu vermeiden (zumindest Zuhause).<br><br>Nachtrag: Signal haben sie nicht, weil wir ja keine Smartphones (Handy) nutzen. Farooq | فاروق<p>My followers might've noticed a surge of activity from me on Mastodon in the last few days.</p><p>So the story is that I was sticking to <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/KaiOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KaiOS</span></a> feature phones to not have social media with me everywhere. But now my feature phone is broken and I can't find a new one to buy. KaiOS is falling. So I borrowed my brother's old Android phone.</p><p>And I installed Tusky Mastodon app on it. Then I was encouraged to have more activity on Mastodon and spending more time in it. And even spending sleep hours to browse mastodon in bed, which is very unhealthy for sleep.</p><p>Now, I truly understand that having social media with me on my phone is a bad idea. Yesterday I uninstalled Tusky from the phone.
