It's not "a little treat". It is of dire necessity to ensure the safety and security of people.</p><p>Your country has no power to judicially deal with foreign entities, so once that data and processing goes over the border, your rights are forfeit.</p><p>Believing a company outside of said country won't harvest and sell your data because you pay them a subscription fee is naive.</p><p>Believing "you've got nothing to hide" makes no sense if you're Anne Frank.</p>
Thor A. Hopland<p>I have figured out that the only way I can actually move forward with the <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/fediverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fediverse</span></a> and <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/digitalsovreignty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>digitalsovreignty</span></a> in <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/Norway" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Norway</span></a> is to write about it.</p><p>That is, I am considering making a guide called "The accelerationist guide to digital sovreignty" - in <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/Norwegian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Norwegian</span></a> of course, and then in <a href="https://snabelen.no/tags/English" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>English</span></a>.</p><p>I think the drip feed of changes that's been going on and that is supposedly "the best approach" is lowballing the situation. The problem is real big, and I feel like I'm the only one who takes it seriously.</p>
