Franklin López<p>Québec is about to sell off the fucking forests to the logging industry.<br>Bill 97 would hand over control of one-third of public forests, gut protections, and sideline Indigenous nations who have been defending these lands since forever.</p><p>First Nations leaders, environmental orgs, unions — everybody with half a brain — are joining forces to stop this shit. This is a rare moment where different fronts are coming together to fight for the forests, for the land, and for future generations.</p><p>They’re calling for a total rethink — and it’s happening fast.<br>A Forest Summit is planned for May 20th in Saguenay.</p><p>If we don’t raise hell now, the forests — and the people who depend on them — are fucked.<br>Stay tuned.
