👆 The “green wobbly bit” reference is from Terry Pratchett’s “The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents.” It’s a really awesome book, I highly recommend it, if you love rats and haven’t read it yet.

Nature is harsh. Life is hard for all animals in the human-dominated world. That’s one of the reasons I don’t eat/wear animals or their parts. And because I have a choice to #beVegan. 💚

Nothing could give us more pleasure than to introduce to you our final speaker for the day. All the way from Dublin especially to come and talk to us. Dr. Roger Yates

Sociologist Roger Yates went vegan in 1979, ran several "action groups" in the 1980s, served as the Northern Press Officer for the Animal Liberation Front, and now runs the Dublin-based Vegan Information Project, co-hosts Still Alive! with Ronnie Lee, and has a YouTube channel for The Vegan Time Tunnel. He is also active on TikTok, Twitter, FB, Threads and Instagram.

Today it is with great pleasure we take this opportunity to introduce our third speaker to you.
Andy Atkinson (Not Your Mum Not Your Milk) hails from Worcestershire and has been vegan for 10 years now. He is a rights based activist with an emphasis on rights (a concept he feels has almost been forgotten). He is passionate about both preserving and speaking about vegan history and the importance of the language which we use and the claims that we make.
These days he can most often be found on TikTok spreading the vegan word.
We are absolutely certain you will be glad to hear Andy's message.

We are very pleased to announce that Lynn Sawyer will be our second speaker at this year's National Animal Rights March. Given her approach to the animal rights cause we just know you're going to love what she has to say.

Lynn became a  vegan animal rights activist in 1994. She had been a  vegetarian for 2 years prior after a misspent youth working on farms and being a hunt supporter. She has done lots of types of activism, from street stalls, to demos, to direct actions. Whilst heavily involved in the SHAC campaign she was seriously injured after being pulled from a tripod on the A1. She is currently a dedicated hunt saboteur sabbing both illegal hunting and  the badger cull.

We are very excited to announce that Kat Chan will be our very first speaker at this year's National Animal Rights March and we are certain you will be enthralled to hear her story and her message for you all.

Kat Chan has dedicated much of her time to doing direct action and has been arrested 17 times so far in her struggle for justice. She recently graduated from Strathclyde University in computer science. She has campaigned tirelessly with various organisations and is currently looking for a job working within vegan activism.
