Matt Palmer<p>Victoria isn't particularly known for <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/aurora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>aurora</span></a>, but with the sun being at its solar maximum it's a great time to keep an eye on the night sky.</p><p>Despite spending about 9 weeks in Iceland and Norway (during late autumn/winter) the past 18 months, two of the best Auroras I've ever seen have been right here where you normally never see them.
