Pablo Majster<p>In the beginning, there was nothing.</p><p>Just a few lines of code. A small project born from boring afternoons. A hobby :blobcoffee:</p><p>No money. No sponsors. No plan for a revolution ❌:yellow_money:</p><p>Just one person. And one question: Can I build something of my own?</p><p>34 years later - that "nothing" still runs. Not as a product. Not as a service. But as a weapon 🏹</p><p>In a world where technology is ruled by empires :empire:, where every click, every glance, every word is turned into profit. In a world where people stopped being users - because they became products, slaves to algorithms, tools for ad revenue - Linux is still a place of resistance :rebel:</p><p>It wasn't meant to save the world. And yet... it does.</p><p>It wasn't meant to be political. And today, it's the purest kind of politics.</p><p>It wasn't supposed to be necessary. And today, it's essential.</p><p>For those who refuse digital submission. For those who want tech that doesn't sell their soul. For those who believe privacy, security, and freedom shouldn't be a luxury 🗽🔐</p><p>For me.</p><p>Because I know how easy it is to get lost. How easy it is to believe there's no alternative. That this is just how it has to be.</p><p>That's why I choose differently 💪</p><p>Not for looks. Not for trends. But for control. For awareness. For dignity.</p><p>It's not about Linux lacking a pretty GUI. It's not about not running popular apps. That's not the point - all of that can be figured out. The point is that I choose what runs on my system. Not someone who's never met me, but knows every move I make </p><p>34 years later - this isn't a hobby. This is a fortress. A frontline. An echo of the question from years ago, which today sounds like a call:</p><p>Can we build something of our own? :linux:</p><p>📊 What distro do you use? I'm not asking out of curiosity. I'm asking with hope - that I'm not alone.</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>windows</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/34yearsoflinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>34yearsoflinux</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/freedom" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>freedom</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/privacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>privacy</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/security" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>security</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/foss" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>foss</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/freesoftware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>freesoftware</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/digitalresistance" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>digitalresistance</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/antibigtech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>antibigtech</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/thisiswar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>thisiswar</span></a></p>
