jexner 🏳️‍🌈Android Studio had shown me an error that wasn't one, so I logged an issue the other day. Turns out it is likely an issue with the K2 Kotlin compiler, and the workaround is to switch off K2 in the IDE for now. I did that this morning, and now Android Studio gives me a bunch of really helpful warnings that I had not seen before. Turns out K2 mode really _is_ beta.
