Akzel<p>trackpad gesture navigation is still one of my favorite things with GNOME Web vs other web browsers</p><p>like yeah you can see some visual bugs with it here, but swiping the web page "off" of the previous page to go back, or swiping it back "on" to the current page to go forward just looks really nice</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/GNOME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNOME</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/GNOMEWeb" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNOMEWeb</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/GnomeApps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GnomeApps</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Adwaita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Adwaita</span></a></p>

Garlicus<p>I am looking for feedback. I designed an <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Adwaita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Adwaita</span></a> based icon pack, it keeps most of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Adwaita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Adwaita</span></a> while tweaking the folders to be a bit more skeuomorphic. <br>I am not usually someone who designes anything. It leaves me wondering, what do <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/GNOME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNOME</span></a> contributes think about it? </p><p>I would really love to hear what you think! <br>Have a look: <a href="https://github.com/Garlus/gawaita" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">github.com/Garlus/gawaita</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>

🩷libadwaita🩷<p>Interestingly it appears that the <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/gnome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gnome</span></a> circle website is still using <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/cantarell" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cantarell</span></a> fonts instead of the new <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/adwaita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>adwaita</span></a> fonts. Brage Fuglseth<p>I know a lot of people switched to the new <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Adwaita" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Adwaita</span></a> fonts right after their conception, but I've actually sticked with Cantarell 'till the very end except for some light testing. Just upgraded to the latest Fedora beta with the new fonts, and it's a whole new world! </p><p>This is the culmination of years of discussion and research by many people, but <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://tech.lgbt/@monster" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>monster</span></a></span> deserves a special thanks for spearheading this particular solution and pushing the initiative over the finish line once and for all.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/GNOME" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GNOME</span></a></p>
