Saw A Complete Unknown, the #BobDylan pic, last week, and the first half was fantastic. The second half deals with the old acoustic-electric debate--which seems misunderstood to me. The debate wasn't aesthetic (acoustic guitars vs electric) but political (building a social movement based on a pure art form). Pete Seeger (Ed Norton) is given a little speech in the film, but it kind of misses the point -- again. I may be alone on this one!
