A new #poll by CBS News/YouGov conducted this past Wednesday through Friday, showed #OrangeIdiot with a 53% approval rating compared with a 47% disapproval rating.

Seems to me like a part of the authoritarian playbook: Make the citizens feel overwhelmed, hopeless, and helpless.
Needless to say, "mainstream" (corporate) media can no longer be trusted. They've all gone so far right I'm surprised my TV hasn't tipped over...
@old_hippie Polls like that tend to be limited in scope, so I wouldn't put too much stock in it.
I did, however, see a majority of pollsters on OnePulse negatively rate the tariffs.

It's an issue I've seen among the progressive groups - not just in US - that they're somehow in denial about the amount of support the right-wing gets.
But that's the thing. In the end, majority *truly* support the fascism. And you can't sort things out unless you accept the hard reality.

@old_hippie You have to realize that Hitler was democratically elected. People thought the right-wing nutters were better for jobs. Same reason the GOP took power in the US.
Cambridge Analytica, #Facebook, and #PeterThiel seem to have proven how easy brains can be manipulated at a large scale.
