um guys we need to start supporting our local oil barons. they do so much, and should be supported. because they are nearby. to us
@ivy Haha this is great. When I was younger I was all on the bandwagon of "small businesses" and "buy local"...and then I witnessed "mom and pop" stores horrifically exploiting workers who were marginalised and vulnerable and had challenges organising, while meanwhile at the big box store workers had already unionised. Capitalists are gonna capitalist!
