I want a donut. To get a donut I must stand up, get dressed (including putting on a bra) and drive to either the donut shop or the grocery store.

Now the question is - how much do I really want a donut?

#SundayThoughts I got the privilege to sing for an Easter celebration last week (and I will sing on Easter as well). There were many musical performances. What I loved the most wasn't the songs or their skill, but that they were putting themselves in the performances. The songs almost felt like prayers.

I don't believe all art or performances have to be personal. But as someone who often "takes himself out" of my work, I'm trying to be better of putting myself back in them.

Obviously not everyone can do without (jobs, contacting loved ones, safety traveling alone). But it is fascinating of how my and succeeding generations are far more reliant on phones for daily life. Nearly everything uses an app.

#SundayThoughts I found audio recordings online from my great grandpa I've never met. Love hearing his voice; he and my grandpa have a lot in common there.

In the recording, he narrated many of the miraculous experiences in his life. I also consider myself "a miracle man" (see "Signs" movie reference below), meaning I've seen miracles happen in my life and others. If my posts haven't told you, I try to maintain an optimistic and grateful outlook.

I literally have no control over them. They just come as I'm doing other things but it has taught me that one often leads to the other, and you don't always have to have both constantly.

If you feel like you're out of the ideas, just start making something. The ideas will find you.
