Israel has issued a final order banning the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories, Sheikh Mohammad Hussein, from Al-Aqsa Mosque for six months, according to lawyer Khaldoun Najm.
This comes after the expiry of his previous 8-day ban, which was imposed following his sermon in which he spoke about Gaza.
Hamas condemned the decision, calling it “an arbitrary occupation measure” and stressing that it is part of the enemy’s attempts to impose control over Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The movement urged the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take urgent action against these Judaization measures.
