This is a tough but legitimate and very insightful criticism of #StephenColbert 's supposedly rational #ideology. This appears most in his interviews as they are too often reduced to #chitchat, which is the way developped by the #establishment to avoid difficult topics. Better talk of the weather rather than of the climate. And yes, I do like how he points out the toxic absurdity of reality in his monologues, but that isn't even half the way to political resistance.

Now #StephenColbert on the other hand spent 11 years strictly adhering to satirical talking points, and seems entirely capable of doing it again with actual progressive talking points. Plus he needs a new job.
