wolfZwar alles richtig, was in <a href="https://www.tagesschau.de/wissen/klima/klimawandel-zukunftsszenarien-deutschland-100.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">diesem Artikel</a> beschrieben wird und ja, zumindest die Verantwortlichen aller großen Städte wissen es längst, dass an <a href="https://fedi.solibre.de/search?tag=Entsiegeln" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Entsiegeln</a> und <a href="https://fedi.solibre.de/search?tag=Begr%C3%BCnen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Begrünen</a> kein Weg vorbei führt. Klingt ja fein und finden ja alle auch prinzipiell ne super Idee. Aber das Wichtigste steht in kognitiver Dissonanz auch hier wieder nirgends, nicht ein Wort dazu:Um in unseren Städten eine maßgeblich lindernde Wirkung durch Grün, Wasser und Schatten halbwegs hinzukriegen muss eine wichtige Maßnahme ganz oben auf der Agenda stehen, wird aber vor lauter Angst vor Veränderung und ewiggestriger Wutbürger:innen bisher nichtmal in solchen Artikeln erwähnt:Der Autoverkehr hat innerstädtisch nichts mehr zu suchen. Mit Autos im öffentlichen Stadtraum gibt es einfach quantitativ keine ausreichenden Entsiegelungsoptionen. Das wird ohnehin schwierig, denn auch unterirdisch haben wir in Städten eben sehr viel wirklich lebensnotwendige Infrastruktur, auf die wir, anders als auf veraltete, schlecht ausgelastete ineffiziente Fortbewegungsmittel einer Minderheit, nicht so leicht verzichten können.Sprecht diesen Elefanten im Raum ruhig endlich mal an! Denn darüber muss nicht nur diskutiert werden, sondern wir müssen dringend jetzt anfangen, die weitreichenden Veränderungen entgegen aller Widerstände anzugehen. Das dauert eh lange (wie viel zeit braucht z.B. ein Baum um im Stadtkontext sicher zu überleben, wie lange um eine schattenspendende Krone auszubilden?…) Andernfalls haben wir in den Städten 0 Chance auf ein einigermaßen lebenswertes, gesundes Leben. Timo BühlerDie Hitzewellen in Wien werden intensiver und spürbarer. Tropennächte sind mittlerweile keine Seltenheit mehr und das hat weitreichende Folgen für die Bewohner*innen der Stadt. Links das Foto, rechts das Wärmebild.
