Amy puts it succinctly enough. She neatly summarises what the pressing issues are and Labor needs to address them if it truly wishes to representing all Australians with no one left behind (hate that borrowing from the cinematic US military portrayal):
"Australia has very real issues. Our tax system is entrenching generational inequality. Secure housing depends on luck and wealth. Fossil fuel vested interests rank higher than a burning planet. Speaking against a live-stream genocide has been treated as worse than the genocide itself. Poverty is treated as a photo opportunity and not something government has any real power to change."

At this point, we should expect Labor to get off the starting blocks at a furious pace. There is much work to do this term. We, all of us, cannot afford for our govt to mark time like it did during its firs term. we need changes soon without a moment to waste or there will be no third term for Labor..
