My name is Karl and this is my #introduction. I've just joined courtesy of installing #Vivaldi browser and finding a pointer to here. With everything that's going on in the world I am less inclined to be connected to Facebook, Instagram and the like, or to share my data so widely. I've reduced my exposure... I just liked it and thought perhaps it could inspire a way of looking at things, so I adopted it for my blog page.
I work in technical sales for #RedHat an IT #Software company, and in my spare time I like to play and sing. I play #fiddle, #guitar(s) and accordion.. though mostly fiddle. I also love #dogs, and #walking in the #countryside, and #ClassicCars and #Motorcycles. To stay #healthy I like #running, #walking and doing #yoga mostly.

Remember how parents would warn you about peer pressure when you were a kid. “If Billy jumped off a cliff, would you?”
Well, I guess if Billy signed up for a historic 40 mile road race in rural Tennessee, I would too.
Because here we are, signed up for Strolling Jim, one of the first ultramarathons in Tennessee, established by the Barkley Marathons’ own Lazarus Lake in his old stomping grounds of Wartrace, TN.
Wish us luck next weekend! My knees are going to need it.

Long run day, exploring the newly expanded Taylor Mountain park outside Santa Rosa.
Views like few other, you can see every direction from somewhere on this park. The Colgan Highlands trail is superb singletrack for fun descent.
