🎯 Let’s Juggle Arrays! Master the Art of Rotation with the Juggling Algorithm 🔄✨
In this post, we’ll break down the steps and uncover the magic behind this algorithm:
✅ Why cycles matter : How GCD helps us divide the array into manageable chunks 🔢
✅ Step-by-step rotation : Move elements in a juggling pattern—no extra memory needed! 🚀
✅ Interactive examples : Follow along as we rotate arrays left or right with ease 🔄

A quick patch might stop the error —

But digging deeper prevents it from happening again.
✅ Ask “why” multiple times
✅ Look at logs, not just symptoms
✅ Think about system behaviour
✅ Build permanent fixes, not band-aids

Root cause analysis is what sets apart long-term thinkers from short-term fixers.

@iFixit

I was in primary school for the first #EarthDay. It was in our Weekly Reader.

In the IDEA #ProblemSolving method, celebrating Earth Day is the bridge between the Assessing and Identifying steps.

The four steps are:

1) Identify the problem

2) Develop a plan to address/solve the problem

3) Execute the plan

4) Assess the effectiveness/efficacy of the plan

Earth Day is our annual reminder to look at how we're doing on maintaining our planetary home. And to do better.

Especially, lets solve actual problems.

I was touring a local makerspace-based education facility, and the director talked about how pointless the one-day, solve-a-problem sessions are. Because the problems generally chosen, and the solutions to those problems are not anchored to reality.

The example he gave was turning water bottles into school desks. They didn't know how that process would actually work, they assumed this could be done, and wrote specifications for all the other parts of the project: acquiring the bottles, marketing the desks, etc.

I had not thought about things in that context before. I mean, I am keenly aware of #assistiveTech designed and built without any input from actual #disabled people. I didn't realize this was a general trend.

OMG, it took humanity 100 years to solve a math problem that today’s students learn in a week?! 🤯 Must've been a wild ride from "How do we map this circle with straight lines?" to "Oops, we solved it by accident!" 🗺️📜 Guess Mercator should've just waited for the next edition of "Calculus for Dummies!" 📚🤣
