About yesterday
We were lucky and the rain didn´t fall while we were performing. And we were lucky to have a photographer because the one that we usually work with (Erik Åhman) turns out to be the brother of one of the singers of the band KAJ who will represent Sweden at the ESC. And understandably he is very busy at the moment travelling with them. Funny enough the whole band is from the area and the whole area is going nuts about it. We found replacement in Kim Blåfield who will send us the official performance documentation next week, so for now its just the afterwards mämmi feast. It was great that so many people came. Stay tuned for more.
And thank you @Pejuksu@mastodon.social for the lemon and orange slices. That was a great addition to the mämmi/memma.

Hello fellow #floppy fans! Through some fiddling and optimisation I've freed up about 180KB of space on http://floppy.museum and need something to fill it with.
Since my brain is pretty much empty at the moment, I would be very grateful for any ideas the Fediverse could offer. Some ground rules:
- It needs to fit in the space given (duh!)
- It needs to be relevant to floppies and/or #retrocomputing
- It can be software (yet another service), in which case it must run under #MSDOS on a 286, and should have moderate memory requirements (some EMS and XMS is OK, but at most 380KB conventional..)
- It can be art (but don't expect me to create any, so the license must permit this usage)
- Should not require modern browsers of hardware to access/enjoy
Ideas floated so far:
- Gopher server (problem: how to convert html to gopher pages; yes I've tried, no it's not easy)
- Rmenu (a telnet server allowing running of commands on the machine)
- Samantha Fox GIFs
Spread the word and give me ideas! The sillier the better!

Performance art with shite criticism or should that be criticism of shite?
The Virtual Reality
I sit in front of a map and a notebook.
I look at the map and in my mind I follow a path I have walked many times before.
I imagine the walk in real time. I make notes of what I pass, of what I might see and of the directions I follow.
It takes 42 minutes, just as long as it takes me to actually walk the route.

i am a transfem artist based in #adelaide, kaurna yerta and have a background in #gamedev, specifically #virtualreality. i cant stop thinking about #transreality experiences, #pervasivegames, and other transmedia storytelling ( #ARGs! ), but most of my artistic practice would be in what i would more broadly call participatory #performanceart
i love #opensource, #diy (as in punk), #openscience, and building and pulling apart systems!!

I hope that while some of these Facebook boomers got out over their comfort zone yesterday they met some folks who will radicalize them in small ways that will take hold and lead to real change for EVERYONE. But a lot of this still has a very milquetoast "Not In My Back Yard" feel that says "I don't see color, but I don't align with you cus you're poor" and that's not gonna lead to meaningful action
@memeorandum they are NEVER GOING TO PUT AOC OR BERNIE ON A PRESIDENTIAL BALLOT. They WILL use them to try to coopt the left into falling in line with the Democratic party. It's all an attempt to prove that the party is not just the left hand side of the fascist one party state. It's all #PerformanceArt it's all crap. Don't believe it. They'll run thru the primaries but be forced to capitulate and endorse some capitalist goon for the actual ticket. We've seen this all before
