#MuseScore just feels really awkward and I can't put my finger on why. Useful for converting random formats to PDF's though.
#forScore seems to be more for performing than composition, I still need to try it with my page turning peddle, but it does allow me to annotate PDF's. Doesn't seem to let me import #guitar #tabs in random ascii formats though.
Any other suggestions I should try?
I have composed an orchestral song: The Gaza's Holocaust.
The score is here: https://musescore.com/user/79969672/scores/26513704
PS: The sound is not good because it was just rendered with #musescore
Yet another #minimalist #piano #song I have composed these last days, that fits in a single page.
I wanted to record myself playing it but it's too late already around here, so here is a #musescore exported version (is not the same, but at least you can get an idea).
OMG. #Musescore has turned to the worst bloatware ever. It used to be good.
A little orchestral song I have been working on since Yesterday. As I have COVID I cannot do shit outside, so I'm composing 'happy' music.
I’m enjoying transcribing the Articles of Faith children’s songs into ABC Music notation. It’s to fit the #French translation to the music, making it easier to memorise the text.
#MuseScore is another option, but I’m not sure it’s needed for this project. ABC is #plainText and thus supremely portable, and can be exported as xml, PDF, or interactive html for playing in a browser.
The EasyABC app is great, and a better experience than the (still convenient) #Obsidian plugin.

People often have difficulty, but it was straightforward for me on Debian/KDE using #ReaperDAW. I'm using a somewhat obscure audio interface (A Topping E2x2) but it just worked.
I record and mix bass and guitar, and also mess with #MuseScore for some arranging.
My biggest challenge has been Windows/Mac-only plugins. I have made Windows plugins work, but that is a good deal of extra effort. JACK was also more work, but optional.
#musescore plante à chaque fois que je rentre le Fa# de la 8ème mesure
Je crois qu'il n'aime pas Oasis ...
#Musescore seems to have enshittified to the point where i can`t even use the app without signing in. And the backend is probably built around active paid accounts because my login is being rejected.
I just want to read #music scores I already downloaded on my tablet you fucking capitalist scum.
Parece que hay nueva versión de #Musescore
La v4.5.
A ver qué cosicas trae.
Was würde ich dann wollen?
#Midi #Musescore
A random stranger arranged my work for orchestra for some reason. Thank you! :>

I've been working as a #software #engineer for 30 years. I have been using #linux at home since 1997 and at work since 2001. I've compiled kernels. I've contributed patches to #opensource
I do not understand why my #sound cannot Just Work.
Why do I have to "kill #pulseaudio" to get #midi devices to connect to #alsa? WTF does that even mean?
A lot of programs (#musescore, #bitwig, etc) can figure this out. Why do the rest require helpful-but-should-be-redundant guides:
Bueno, ahí va un hilo de truquillos de #Musescore. Recupero los que puse en la otra red social e intentaré ampliarlo. Espero que le sirva a alguien :) #MusescoreTips
