Say whatever you want to say, but for me, peak #DiabloSwingOrchestra was Pandora's Piñata.

The production is remarkable. Guitars and bass are tight, great vocals, great strings and production overall. Drums are 11/10.

Pacifisticuffs was a so-so album, and the next one had so an attrocious mixing that I believe it killed any hype for the band. I twas so bad I HAD to write about it.

I haven't tried it yet, let alone heard it, but #audioassault just released an interesting looking sort of #500module #emulation #mixing #plugin for #linuxaudio called Mix Locker. audioassault.mx/mixlocker
If the thing sounds any good, emulating modules like the SSL 4000E, Telefunken V76 and Neve 1073 mic preamps, Empirical Labs Distressor EL8 and Manley Massive Passive (15 modules in total), I could imagine it being really fun. 🤓
