Known for sharp twists and turns despite the minimalism of their instrumentation, Duluth band Low infused this career peak LP with all that made them stand out among the indie/ lo-fi scene of the 2000s. “Monkey” and “Everybody’s Song” pierce the heart with angular catharsis, while “Silver Rider” and “On the Edge Of” forge stark beauty through Alan Sparhawk’s and Mimi Parker’s transcendent harmonies.
