I finally finished my fourth #chrumm #mechanicalkeyboard
(There was no real hurry, as I already have some )

This time, with a detachable USB cable and a bit cleaner cabling. Housing is a FFF #3dprint in transparent PCTG instead of resin.

Hopefully it will be sturdier that way, when I take it on the go.

Anybody got recommendations for a wireless keyboard that I could possibly replace this old girl with?

This keyboard rules, and it still works perfectly, but I want to go wireless to reduce desk clutter.

I'd like something that's fairly heavy. Full 104- or 103-key a must. Rubber domes preferred -- or, if it's mechanical, something that's pretty quiet, as my office is also the bedroom that I share with my wife, and I like to work at night.

Well look at that, splitting everything into individual PCBs paid out. Not only they're simpler to make but it's also cheaper.

My last attempt at panelising everything into one PCB costed me about $80 including assembly. This time around three separate PCBs cost me about $35. That's two keyboards worth of parts, btw if that's not clear

And when i mess things up, I can re-fab only broken PCBs

Finally was in the mood for some PCB work. I'd be lying if I'd say that I don't feel a little bit smug about this v3 mobo

Because it's tiny and fully reversible. I'm particularly smug about that reversible nice!view display connector. Oh, and it scales to 4x6 matrix for larger builds too!

J’ai besoin de vos lumières. Puisque Calcifer (mon épaule droite) me rend la vie difficile et en particulier devant un clavier, j’ai besoin d’un clavier ergonomique. Problème : j’y connais que dalle. Bon la team #ergol, j’ai un petit soucis de layout. Je suis en 5x3 + 3, homerow et j’ai une couche numpad à droite, sous le pouce droit, et une couche Fn en main droite et arrows en main gauche, sous le pouce gauche.
J’ai des difficultés d’enchaînement entre les chiffres et les symboles, vu que je dois déplacer mon pouce droit. Est-ce que si j’inverse les deux layers switch je règle mon soucis sans en créer d’autres d’après vous?

Just found by accident a great keyboard shortcut in the Brave browser, firefox & IceCat.
Ctrl-Shift+Del will open the "delete browsing data" dialog.
Never knew this before (I'm sure others did) but it's really cool!
