Seeing
just half the world—
cataract.
Seeing
just half the world—
cataract.
Coconut cake
desire fulfilled—
regret is rising.
Springtime meal
bottle after bottle—
laughter swelling.
Jour après jour
les feuilles du tilleul
mangent un peu plus le ciel.
Day after day
the linden leaves devour
a little more of the sky.
Anywhere—whether lying down or sitting—close your eyes to shut out this intrusive world, with its concrete shell, clamor, and grasping claws. With the colorful brushes of your heart, recreate a timeless interlude—silent, radiant, and invigorating—like a bubble of smiles floating away on a breeze of dreams…

Their soles were smooth, and I had to part with them with regret. For many years, they allowed me to discover stunning landscapes, protected my feet, and endured trails, rain, and other harsh conditions. I am deeply grateful to them for all of this.
This is an old slideshow (found in a lost file directory) made with photos taken during my first trip to Paris, in 2003, with my first digital camera: a Nikon Coolpix 2000 (2 MP).
It's not great, but it shows the Paris I love...

"This tower is the only remnant of a church, the original Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie, owing its name and function to the foundation of a chapel in the 12th century. The main body of the church disappeared towards the end of the 18th century."

This tenderness never leaves me... I don’t know whether it emanates from me or from you... It’s a fragrance, an aura, a constellation that envelops every moment of my life, every object my hands linger upon—like a cat rubbing against everything, softly purring as it claims its territory…
