Unfortunately I couldn't solve the problem in #codeberg, I created an issue and am now back in #gitlab.

Announcement! A #Java library to control #DMX512 fixtures, optionally using #OpenFormatLibrary (#OFL) JSON files.
After numerous experiments, spending too much money on fancy LED fixtures, and building a test #JavaFX UI, here it is. It didn't take this long because it's extremely complex, but rather because it's a pet project alongside other work and pet projects.
