Betroffen sind alle iPhones und iPads, die noch mit <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/iOS16" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iOS16</span></a> laufen. Hier kommt es ab sofort zu Einschränkungen bei der Verwendung der Sonos-App.</p><p>Mehr dazu: <a href="https://www.appgefahren.de/?p=383284" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">appgefahren.de/?p=383284</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/appgefahren" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>appgefahren</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Apple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Apple</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/AppleBlog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AppleBlog</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/iPhone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iPhone</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/iPad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iPad</span></a> <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Mac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mac</span></a></p>
The Peter Pan of Nerdery™️<p>Listen. Just for those Apple app authors crowing about how exciting <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/iOS17" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iOS17</span></a> is and how they’re starting to code for that. Even <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/iOS16" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>iOS16</span></a>. Just understand that iPad Air 2’s, and god knows how many other “legacy” devices that actually still work perfectly fine, CANNOT be updated beyond 15.7.9. I have my Air 2 open and on a stand with <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/Trello" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Trello</span></a> right now, and THANKFULLY <a href="https://techhub.social/tags/MonaApp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MonaApp</span></a> also still runs on it as do many of the other apps I use. But please, PLEASE - especially if your app just does text or checkboxes or notifications, right - because you’ve been able to manipulate that stuff since iOS1 or so - PLEASE don’t make your app depend on minimum iOS16 or 17. Mona didn’t. Follow their lead.</p><p>People on older devices don’t give a toss “what percentage of Apple users as a whole are using iOSx”. Believe it. The Air2 works fine, as does my iPhone13 Pro on 15.4.1.</p>
