@vwbusguy I'm not sure if I'm having a #Fedora problem, or an #i3 problem.
I have a #Proxmox VM with the Fedora i3 spin installed.
The UI portion becomes unresponsive. I assume it's autosuspend. I can still SSH in, but despite my attempts to update logind.conf, it still won't let me get back to the desktop without a reboot of the VM.
Any thoughts?

Got a question for the #fediverse :
Those of you who use tiling window managers (like i3, dwm, xmonad, etc)
How do you handle, say, a giant curved monitor? Seems mad to have a terminal plastered across a 49" curved monitor. Can you split the monitor into "screens"? Is X Windows up to the task? (Please, no suggestions for Wayland.. it's not really complete yet)

@dahukanna I use rectangle too. About as useful (or more, because it does not interfere with how applications render their windows, it only moves them around) and less extreme than #xmonad or #i3 on linux.
i3wm, multiple displays, tray icon thingie placement
Is there a way to tell i3wm or xwindows or whatever on which display it should put the tray icon thingie?
Selecting one display als "primary" in arandr does not have the desired effect.
Most of the time things arrange themselves as I want; this time they did not and I now want a bit more control.
Wouldn't it be cool to have the icon tray on all displays...
I don't have wayland.
OMG I just mapped Windows+C in #i3 to open chromium,. This is amazing! Why did it take me so long to make a browser shortcut?

Final update. It’s done, they took the money and she’s SO happy with the car despite the horrible service a the car supermarket.
30k mile one private owner + dealer demo late 2020 car for about 1/3 list price when new 
She accidentally drove it home via central Leeds (rather than the motorway route she knows) and still loved the drive
She’s got a huge learning curve ahead learning about all the options and functions so expect some daft questions from me here
