Dendrobatus Azureus<code>chmod user.user</code>was the syntax until until I recently noticed that it was changed to<code>chmod user:user</code>I have to check out why that occurred. Cara BruarTo self publishers, please consider your readers when formatting. There should be white space on the page, not a wall of densely packed text with nowhere for the eye to start or pause. Also non self publishers of course. I read samples before buying. Dendrobatus AzureusI've just finished reading this blog post regarding the markdown Syntax by RL Dane He is also given a brief history of the Computing Hardware and software that he has used ever since he was a little Padawan.The blog post is just a few minutes to read and you shall learn something good from it.TLDR is; use {smackdown} markdown for everything you write that needs formatting and be truly platform independent in your formatted text creation.When you truly understand what he means, it is literal total freedom with formatted text and you don't even need to learn tex or LaTeX, since you will not be writing a book.
