As someone who prefers #Flatpak, yea I uninstalled the outdated orca-slicer package I installed from the #AUR, and installing the (latest) Flatpak (manually) seems to work perfectly.

It does require the same workaround I needed for
#BambuLab's #BambuStudio (some env variables), but that's only because I'm using #NVIDIA (on #Wayland) - to get the 3D model/bed preview working.

Installing #obsstudio from #Flathub will consume ~500MB more space compared to the native package (a bit older version but that won't make any significant difference) 🙃
While concept of each app be using it's own copy of dependencies might be justified in some situations, for general usage accumulation of many duplicated packages is just a waste of precious disk capacity.
That's why I avoid #flatpak and #snap software at all cost.

I really wish Mojang would just provide a flatpak of the Minecraft launcher. It's bs that if I want to use the official package, I have to go for a Debian/Ubuntu-based distro or an Arch-based distro.

I know Prism Launcher exists for this purpose, but I always prefer to use an official package. Might genuinely just use Fedora as my main, personal system and then have Debian installed exclusively for Minecraft.

Ever wanted to lay down a sick beat but lacked the kit or know-how to do so? Drum Machine is an app that makes rhythm creation easy! It lets you program your own drum patterns on an intuitive grid, with sounds including kick, snare, hi-hat, and more. You're free to change the BPM of your track, then save the pattern to a file. Jam away with Drum Machine!

Heya, folks! We have an update on #Snap and #AppArmor support in #Solus. We are holding off on our planned Snap support removal for now, as there has been recent progress in upstreaming the AppArmor patch set to the #Linux kernel. We still recommend #Flatpak, which has integration in GNOME Software and KDE Discover.
