It would seem OPNsense v25.7 aka Visionary Viper is not ready!!!
Today I upgraded from #OPNsense v25.1.12-amd64 to v25.7
I did this via the Web UI, everything went fine and the system rebooted but when it came back, it stopped at: EFI framebuffer and outputted long lines etc...
Thanks to ZFS snapshot and my v25.1 installer USB Stick,
I was able to rollback to a Snapshot I made before the upgrade. 
OPNsense 25.7 open-source firewall and routing platform is out now, featuring a refreshed frontend, SFTP backups, and FreeBSD 14.3 under the hood.
