Two years ago, after a snowstorm. I wasn’t out to take photos—just exploring. Then the clouds dropped below me, the sky cleared, and Mont Blanc stood still under a single lenticular cloud. The last light of sunset painted the peaks in soft pink and purple. I had my camera in the pack… and I’m glad I did.
Crisp air, untouched snow, and the morning sun casting long shadows through a quiet alpine landscape. After breaking trail through deep powder, moments like these are the reward—light, silence, and space to breathe. Do you prefer winter’s solitude or the warmth of summer in the mountains?
