#Bologna won the European Mobility Week Award for its sustainable initiatives, presented by Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas. The city was recognised for its Car-Free Days, educational activities, and involvement of local organisations in promoting sustainable urban mobility. Pěšky městem, a #Czech association, received the #Mobility Action Award for its nationwide campaign encouraging families to walk to school, involving 501 schools across 338 cities. Solčava, #Slovenia, received a special mention for its commitment to sustainable #transport. Tzitzikostas praised the winners for creating vibrant, green public spaces that benefit both locals and tourists.
