I'm wrapping up my PhD in <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/sociology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sociology</span></a>; I use digital and <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/computationalsocialscience" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>computationalsocialscience</span></a> methods to study experiences of community for <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/LGBTQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LGBTQ</span></a> / <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/queer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>queer</span></a> people and places. </p><p>I've done lots of work with <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Rstats" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Rstats</span></a> / <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/tidyverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tidyverse</span></a>, and I'm getting better with <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/Python" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Python</span></a>, especially for <a href="https://tech.lgbt/tags/nlproc" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nlproc</span></a> and text-as-data methods as they relate to applied social science questions.</p><p>Can't promise to be super active on here while I'm dissertating and interviewing for jobs, but I might share some snippets of my in-progress stuff.</p>
