Not much is planned for #Today. I'm considering jumping in the pool for my lunch break. Michael will be coming over this evening, and I'm hoping I can get Adrienne to play My City. It's been a few months since we played this Reiner Knizia legacy #boardgame. And then 4 Guys Co-op will tackle another map in Rainbow Six Siege. It's been fun to play that again, although this map has been tough for us.

Cool, the quickest-fulfilled Kickstarter of my history got delivered today. I still had to fetch it from a packet locker myself, but still.

Maybe I encountered "A place for all my books" here" or in my RSS feeds, but when I saw the descr., it sounded neat. Then I showed the video to my partner and she found it neat too. So I went for the fancier edition, for the fun of it.

A few months was all it took. Maybe we find time soon to test it this year 😅

Guild Academies of Valeria from Daily Magic Games

This is a heavier stand alone board game in the Valeria Universe, where you are recruiting students and professors and build a campus to train the next generation of heroes.

🃏 Treasure Awaits at Tavern’s Market! 🏰

Calling all #BoardGame lovers, #TTRPG enthusiasts, and #treasure hunters! On August 16th, #Kronenburgerpark will transform into an adventurer's market filled with #secondhand gems, rare finds, and plenty of surprises.

Mark your calendar, bring your friends, and come discover your new favorite game or TTRPG accessory!

🗓️ 16 August, 11:00 - 17:00

It’s more than just a market – it’s a celebration of gaming!

If you do like "Cartographers" (and excellent 'roll'n write' boardgame by Jordy Adan) as I do, here is the map of my first solo game - a lot of rivers and lakes, only one gnoll ambush but only 61 points 🥴 I took some time to colorize it (inspired by Hywel's drawing) 🙂

Mmmmh... I wonder if this kind of boardgame could be ported on my Atari ST... Just for fun... Why not...

Edit: It's a version of Stratego!

My kid described a game like chess where the pieces only show what they are on one side. So the players can only see what their own pieces are. When you move onto a square with another piece you can only take it if your piece is stronger. Some of the pieces work like land mines. It was sci-fi themed.
It may be from an educational company. We'd love to know what it is if it sounds familiar to anyone. My google-fu is not up to the challenge.
