So I swapped out the two testing #NVMe drives I was using and reinstalled the original sticks - to have #windoz10 demanding for the #bitlocker recovery key. 
Well, time to wipe & install #windoz11 then.
Install went fine, only 4 rando #drivers to find for all #devices to be recognized and working.
Using my #CTT scripts to install the majority of applications, then to remove the #spyware #bloatware and other garbage #micro$oft added to #windows11
Then migrate my #data from my other ThinkPad. Welcome to my #sunday #funday

Over the weekend I was contacted by a dad on the other side of the country trying to locate the BitLocker key. This is a very common problem. Microsoft’s position is, “Don’t worry, we store you BitLocker keys for you in your Microsoft account!” Microsoft’s attitude seems like: “I know you’re in water over your head, and you can’t swim, and you’re drowning and choking, but don’t worry, we have life preservers right here on the boat. Come get one!”
The reality is that many people have no idea what to do when faced with this challenge.
You must protect yourself. Get your BitLocker recovery key for every BitLocker device, and store it safely yourself. You can find information on how to get your recovery key by searching for “find my BitLocker recovery key,” or a similar phrase, using any search engine.
If you don’t want to do that, contact me, and I’ll help you get your BitLocker key(s) for a very reasonable fee.

Just got autocorrected by my phone. I wanted to write #bitlocker PIN but sent an IM stating #bootlicker and I dunno what to say.
It's 2024 and #Linux installers still ask for disabling #SecureBoot and #Bitlocker.
Bad news everyone: Only doing the easy 80% is not enough if Linux shall ever become a #mainstream OS.

I think today is the day that I install the new CPU/RAM in my gaming PC. I've been sitting on a new 5900X and 64GB of DDR4 for a couple months because I'm always nervous about spreading new thermal paste. The specter of losing the 72TB of pirated videogames due to some weird bitlocker problem always looms.

Where does this most annoying of operating systems (not counting TempleOS here) even store the keys?!?
Shouldn't I, the User, the owner of the data, know a little detail like this?!
It's MY FSCKING DATA, for fox sake! I WANT to access it how ever i see fit! 
As far as i'm concerned, #Windows10 has become a crypto Trojan #Malware. As i said before - i've NEVER instructed Windows to #BitLocker encrypt my files!
... "manage-bde.exe -off <drive letter>" seems to do something - there's a bunch of activity on the storage now. #BitLocker
