So richtig fängt das Insekten-Frühjahr für mich erst an, wenn die Feld-Sandlaufkäfer (Cicindela campestris) wieder auf der Jagd sind.
Another one of the official product pictures for my upcoming beetles!
This long and funky little dude contains two magnets for extra stability (because I just thought it fitting)
cute ladybug
This little person was at the edge of my partly cut wood pile- I'm guessing maybe it was under the bark of some fallen tree I'd harvested. It was on the little piece of woody fungus you see in a couple of the shots, so I carried it to a safer spot over on a pile of sawdust/debris. It soon disappeared over the cliff edge of a large piece of bark. Temperatures a few degrees above freezing daytime, well below at night.

Happy to finally reveal one of the official product picture for my upcoming magnets!
Before releasing them, I will create listings with 0 stock, that way if you want one (or several) you can activate the notification, this will give me an idea of how many to make for the release!
Hoping to have them ready by the end of April at the latest~
Third goobery little beetle magnet! I really love the colours of this one, it’s basically my branding’s palette if you count the bright green belly hehe
This concludes the beetle designs, I will assemble the last moth very soon!

My favourite thing about the pink beetle magnet is the unexpected belly colour
I decided to show it off in a little video, which is also a good opportunity for me to show how invisible the magnets are on them!
Ps: sorry for the abysmal quality, I’ll take a better one soon
4/5 of the first handmade felt magnet prototypes have been assembled and I am so excited to make the last one!
These will be available through two listings: beetles and moths, allowing you to get them individually, or as a set.
I’m really really proud of them and I really can’t wait to release them into the world!
The third little bug magnet design has been assembled! I’m still on the fence about making the horns a bit bigger on this one, what do you think?
This is the biggest model so far, and it has two magnets because it just seemed more fitting!
